Maia Hadi
Maia Hadi is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus majoring in Communications. She is a former Editor in Chief of Muhammad Speaks Newspaper as well as a former producer and talk show host of the Voices Radio Program in St. Kitts, West Indies. Maia is an Ambassador in the Lost Found Nation of Islam and a member of the House of Representatives in the Afrodescendant Nation representing St. Kitts where she currently resides with her husband.
Maia has traveled several times with The Honorable Silis Muhammad‘s Delegation to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland in support of bringing to light the organization’s stand on the human rights violations perpetrated against Blacks in America and building a case for Reparations before the world government.
An activist for reparative justice for Afrodescendants since the mid-1970’s Maia Hadi has worked with such groups as the All African People’s Revolutionary Party and other Black militant groups in Washington, D.C. where she was raised.
Maia Hadi is the proud mother of one daughter and has two grandchildren. “I do what I do so our children will have a better world.”
